Weirdbook No. 22
- WEIRDBOOK No.22 - A black ink and gray pencil drawing on an 11 x 14 vellum paper. Fanzine cover. It is based on a poem I read a long time ago about which I remembered nothing but the words, "The Devil's Dear". And while I worked on the drawing I stopped periodically to write down some thoughts that I eventually put together to make this verse.
She is dark and she is frightful,
She is truly someone to fear,
This charmingly dangerous woman,
They call, the Devil's Dear.
Maybe it's me, or maybe it's you,
that she is searching to find,
wandering the midnight hours
With killing on her mind!
